Kingdom Fungi


Fungi are multi-cellular organism with no chlorophyll and absorb nutrients.
Some fungi combine with algae to form lichen, these are comonly found in tundra, some examples are:

Cladonia rangiferina, or Grey Reindeer Lichen, has a wider ecological amplitude than other reindeer lichens and is thus more common than the others in less favorable habitats such as wet bogs and shaded woods.
